A Little Bit About Me
A little bit of background on me… I grew up on a farm in the Napa Valley with a family in the wine business. My childhood spent in my family's winery taught me deep appreciation for sustainable design and a quadruple bottom line business structure (People, Profit, Place, & Purpose). In pursuit of a career that I could be proud of and excited about, I have studied and learned and continue to do so to better my skills and push my boundaries. I am someone who is experienced, self-motivated, confident and socially responsible who has the ability to communicate effectively, meets agreed upon goals and objectives effectively with strong attention to detail.
I have been immersed in graphic design and marketing for more than 20 years. My experience ranges from Art Director for a Couture Fashion Design House; 4 years in marketing and sales development for home developers; and as an independent contractor helping companies design their corporate identity, marketing strategy and social media presence. I have expansive design & business background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History, a Master’s Degree in Architecture and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on marketing & sustainability. While I worked in the architecture field as an employee and independent contractor, it didn’t take me long to realize my love and focus for socially responsible businesses and marketing.
Additional essential skills range from exemplary customer service, organized project management, self-produced branding design, creating digital content for social media, extensive 2D/3D design skills, material and finish consultation, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, an encyclopedic knowledge of projects and designs, plus a relaxed, fun outlook on the creative design process.
In my free time, I love to cook, paint, draw, garden, entertain friends, and spend time with my loving man and my snuggly puppies.
